Tucked away in the heart of apple and cherry orchards, our cozy home is situated in the charming hamlet of Saroga, just 20 kilometers from Narkanda. Take leisurely nature walks on the forest trail or blaze a trail of your own for a more adventurous experience. With Dutch-German, British, and American influences, the area has a unique charm that you will fall in love with.

Getting Here: By Road

If you're driving, we're located 450km from Delhi, 200km from Chandigarh, 200km from Manali via the Jalori Pass, 88km from Jibhi and 85km from Shimla. 

Not getting your own vehicle? No problem. You can rent a self-drive car from Revv, Zoomcar,or Mychoize or any other rental service of your choice in Chandigarh or Delhi.

Getting Here: By Air

Flights to Shimla:  Alliance Air

If you're flying in, the nearest airports are Shimla (SLV) at 96kms or Chandigarh (IXC) at 200kms. 

Chopper Service: Pawan Hans 

If you're short on time, you can take the chopper service from Chandigarh to Shimla, and then from Shimla to Rampur, which is just 45kms away from us. Please note that you're limited to a handbag.

Getting Here: By Rail

If you prefer train travel, you can take the scenic narrow gauge train from Kalka to Shimla. This route offers dramatic views of the hills and is a unique experience in itself. From Shimla, we can help hire a taxi to bring you up to Saroga Woods. 

Moving Around

Once you arrive, you'll find that most activities can be easily reached on foot from our home. You can access various places of interest in the area within a 20 minute to an hour drive from our home.

The best option is to come up to us in a self-drive vehicle. This will make it easy for you to move around the area. There's ample parking next to our home, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. During winter, we recommend a 4x4 vehicle with some prior snow-driving experience to make your journey safer. You also have the option to go around by hiring one of the local taxis from our village.
